She has been teaching Spanish to young children in the U.S. since 1991.
In addition to instructing children in foreign languages, Susan is also a corporate trainer for many Fortune 500 companies, such as Texas Instruments and EMC˛, where she facilitates foreign language instruction and cross cultural training to thousands of executives.Susan is the author of numerous training publications used in these corporations for the training of their employees.Susan oversees the foreign language program at Sensata Technologies, whose employees are now progressing towards fluency in Spanish.

Maureen has been a fifth grade teacher in the City of Taunton, Massachusetts for the past six years. She also taught fifth grade at the Abigail Adams Intermediate School in Weymouth,Massachusetts. Throughout her 16 years as an educator, Maureen has worked with bilingual students, whose backgrounds are both challenging and diverse.Maureen and her current fifth grade class have been successfully utilizing both language acquisition and Math/Second Language Integration strategies in ALL academic areas. In 2007, one third of Maureen's class showed a marked improvement in their Math MCAS scores, progressing from "Needs Improvement" to "Proficient" in one year.
In addition to teaching, Maureen has participated in the analysis, compilation & publishing of district Mathematics, Reading/ELA & Science Curricula, in accordance withMass. State Frameworks. Maureen has achieved Highly Qualified Status (MA) & holds her Prof. Educator's License.
Junior Great Books trained, Maureen has implemented various language acquisition/cross-curricular strategies into her daily lessons, from which her students have gained confidence in their ELA abilities.
